Use Oracle APEX to Unify Information from Consolidation, Reconciliation, and Other EPM Cloud

Imagine if you will, a world where at your fingertips was a concise summary of all of your tasks, all the hard-to-find information you need to monitor and manage your EPM Cloud systems – from retrieving Financial Consolidation and Close Journal Details, reviewing Task List completion statuses, executing account reconciliation jobs, working with substitution variables, to having a way to retrieve and view Narrative Reporting job statuses, manage Planning Units, and User Access Audit details – all from a single control console.

Sound like Rod Serling narrating an episode from the Twilight Zone? Or is "Space, the final frontier…" echoing through your head. The idea isn't as space age and difficult as it might seem. Not if we use a no-cost Oracle product called APEX to bring it all together and present it in an easy-to-use and secure dashboard.

In this session learn what Oracle APEX is all about and how to use it to integrate common information and tasks from your EPM systems into a secure application that can be used everywhere from your PC to your tablet to your favorite mobile device. We will explore what can be done with APEX and how to create a simple application that communicates with your EPM Cloud through EPM's vast library of REST API calls.
